What started as an organization formed so Ateneo bands would be treated fairly when they are hired for gigs or shows, the Ateneo Musician’s Pool has blossomed into one of The Ateneo De Manila University’s premier Music Production and Events Management organizations.

These days, not only does AMP protect the rights of bands and instrumentalists, it also works hard to hone the skills of its members. Although emphasis is put into the development of musicians, AMP also gives importance to other important aspects of Music Production and Events Management.

We are not just the show. We run the show.

VISION

We, the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool, are a non-profit organization where individuals realize their integral development through music. One with the vision of the Ateneo, we advocate our members’ holistic formation and contribute to the transformation of the Philippine society by creating a view of human existence where music and the arts are essential.

MISSION

We dedicate ourselves to excel in music production, development and appreciation by creating projects and structures that support members in enhancing their talents and fulfilling their pursuits. We build a community where people can support each other’s artistic diversity, which nourishes their social consciousness and passion for music.

OBJECTIVES

1. To create an environment that welcomes diversity and innovation conducive to membership growth and community building
2. Continuously assess the organization’s standards and structures to ascertain meeting the needs of its members and remaining relevant to the Ateneo community and to the Philippine music scene at large
3. Emphasize the roles of music and the arts in human development, social awareness and nation building through projects and activities
4. Provide members with opportunities to training and skills enhancement, as well as venues to apply our knowledge, to heighten our musical sensibilities with respect to our chosen medium.
